I was born and grew up in the Netherlands. When I was eleven years old, my parents decided to move to the beautiful island of Aruba... lucky me! During the first few years, I was totally into Paso Fino horseback riding. I even went to the world championships in Colombia and returned with a silver medal.
When I was fourteen I got to know kiteboarding and was immediately hooked. After four years of practicing the sport I finished high school and immediately started my career as a professional kiteboarder.
At the moment I am living the dream. I travel all over the world competing in the PKRA World Tour of freestyle and visiting as many events as possible. I am currently ranked 4th and will work hard to get up on that podium!
