I found interest in Windsurfing quite late. I was about 13 years old but from the very beginning I got the board planing I loved it. Growing up in the Baltic Sea area with loads of storms and being influenced by the locals I started being interested in wave windsurfing. A few years later I started racing in the slalom discipline in the German Windsurfcup. It took me another two years to take competing seriously and train for the competitions.
After I finished school I decided to put even more focus on the racing and so I did intense wintertrainings which resulted in a good performance. With JP, NeilPryde and NP I managed to get German Vicechampion in 2016.
